Become a Wild Parent!

Become a “Wild Parent” or give an Adopt-an-Animal package as a gift! You gain a special friend while lending support to the Nature Center.

The Adopt-an-Animal program raises funds for habitat improvement, environmental enrichment and education. Animal adoptions have helped provide major renovations to the cougar, bobcat and gray wolf habitats.

See an animal you want to adopt who’s not on our list? Email outreach@wildwnc.org to make your special request!

Wild Parents' Day!

Each symbolic adoption is good for one year and includes an invitation to our Wild Parents’ Day, which occurs twice a year in March and September. During Wild Parents’ Day, you’ll get the chance to meet an animal ambassador, create enrichments for some of our adopted animals, and walk around the wildlife park to see them enjoy your creations! Wild Parents will receive an email invite the month before the event, and space is limited.
