Meet a reptile or amphibian animal ambassador! This exclusive experience gets you up-close and personal with of one of our animal ambassadors. Wild Encounter tickets include access to priority parking, a separate entrance to avoid the check-in line, a free drink token, and a Centennial koozie! Encounter starts at 5:15 pm.

Brews and Bears events are intended primarily for adults, although families are welcome to attend with the purchase of a ticket. Children 2 and under are free. This is a rain or shine event**, and guests will need to bring a valid photo ID to purchase alcoholic beverages or use beer tokens. Tickets can be purchased in advance and may be available for purchase at the door if the event is not sold out ahead of time.
*Friends of the WNC Nature Center members receive a discounted ticket price. Membership cards will be checked at the event. Become a member at wildwnc.org/membership to take advantage of this discount and other great benefits!
**Transfer requests for another date or requests for a refund must be made 1 week prior to the event. If the event is cancelled, all participants will be contacted to transfer or refund their tickets.
Proceeds from ticket and beverage sales go to the Friends of the WNC Nature Center and help support various programs throughout the park, including animal enrichment and habitat renovations.
