Wild Seasons: Knitting Basics

Get cozy with a warm cup of cider while learning the basics of knitting at the Nature Center!

In this two-hour beginner class, you’ll produce a square of fabric while learning how to:

• Tie a slip knot
• Cast on and cast off
• Form a basic knit stitch
• Count your rows
• Find and fix common mistakes

We’ll send you home with instructions to turn your square into a stuffed rabbit or cat!

You’ll need to bring needles and yarn (or select needles as an add-on for an additional fee). Specifics will be emailed to you after you register.
