New Barn Habitat

In summer 2026, we welcomed a new resident into our barn–Violet, the striped skunk! And in 2027, Violet will be getting a new neighbor: a brand new small mammal, like a groundhog or an armadillo!
This animal will serve as an ambassador for its species, teaching Nature Center visitors about its role in our environment. We’ll be creating a new, state-of-the-art habitat for this animal in the barn–but we need your help to build it!

Finish Quarantine
GOAL: $63,000 – $146,000
In 2025, you helped support our new animal quarantine area. While we reached our initial goal for this project, new cost estimates for this space have increased our fundraising needs.
This space is crucial for every new animal ambassador to acclimate to their new home at the Nature Center, meaning your gift will benefit all of our future residents!
